Jay Telford
Born and raised in the Mildura area, Jay was originally an Apprentice chef at Luganos (formerly Lauretz of Langtree) before moving to Melbourne.
Jay has had a very unique career, including Australasian roles for AIG (American International Group) and leadership roles for Wesfarmers incorporating retail sales, training, finance & Insurance products nationally.
Also volunteering for Cancer Council & Animal Welfare League, Jay has recently left the Gold Coast returning to Sunraysia to support family as a Regional Support Manager for C&G Office National. He is now working for Red Energy in customer solutions while being available for local projects and community groups, including the Arts community and committee for Vanilla slice festival.
Harbouring a strong desire to help the ongoing growth of his hometown it has encouraged him to get involved and explore what can be achieved in Mildura’s growth and development.
