Danielle Hobbs
Danielle grew up in the tiny Sunraysia town of Werrimull where she first honed her sense of community and connection to the sunny Sunraysia region, and while she’s traversed the globe and experienced a diverse range of cultures and adventures, there’s only one place she has always and will always call home and that’s Mildura.
An extensive background in the arts, design, project and event management, along with teaching at a Tertiary Level is what guides her role as the Managing Director of the Mildura City Heart, a role she’s been at the helm of since 2018.
Pairing both her love for everything local and her curiosity for the world at large, Danielle brings a strategic research and planning lens to everything she does. Always looking at what like-minded associations are doing on a global platform and how that can be translated to the unique landscape of the City Heart, to see it grow and thrive, and connected in community and tourism.
Danielle believes the City Heart is an important space in our region, a central meeting place of social connection, culture, business, and art. The heart of Sunraysia, a region she is proud to call home.
